I Mean Us is a Dream Pop / Alternative Rock band formed in 2015. Having greatly influenced by Sigur Rós, M83 and Agnes Obel, their music not only has the main structure of Dream Pop, but also combines multiple music styles such as Post Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Shoegaze and Classical. In 2018, I Mean Us released their first debut album《OST》and the first show sold out just in seconds. Taking this massive success as a beginning, IMU started the Asia tour in China, Japan and Korea as well as presenting at many international music events, including SXSW, Music Matters, Zandari Festa and City Roar Festival. After released the second album《Into Innerverse》, IMU was nominated as “Best Band” by “Golden Melody Awards” in Taiwan. The song “24 Years Old of You” was even awarded as “Best Alternative Single” by "Golden Indie Music Awards". These are just the stations they passed through, now they are ready to start a different and brand-new journey. Unexpected with full of possibilities, IMU has such a fascination that has becoming one of the iconic bands between Indie Music and Alternative nowadays.
